May Ms. Ellis rest in the comforting arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was an inspiration to me, especially on how to live life with grace and strength.

Sharon....you meant a lot to a great deal of people. You touched so many lives over the years and we are far better for having known you! Your work here in this world may be complete but the seeds that you planted will continue to grow and will carry on your legacy. We all will continue the fight to defeat this horrible skurge for the fight is long from being over. Your dedication to the effort will long be remembered by all of us who worked with you ..... wonderful memories and wonderful friendships. Rest in peace my dear friend until we meet again. LB

Even though Sharon was my 2nd cousin, I've always looked up to her as my "big sister".
She had an amazing inner strength, self-confidence and hilarious sense of humor. While I was stationed at my first base (Pope AFB), Great Aunt Gilda, Sharon and Freddie made me feel at home as I began my new adventures in the Air Force almost 19 years ago. Aunt Gilda can tell you, I was a "scared young-in" being away from home for the first time. But God had a plan and allowed me to spend time w/my family in North Carolina. :)
Sharon, you will always in be my heart. I love and miss you very much cousin! May the Lord and his Angels watch over and protect you as he welcomes you into Heaven. Sending my thoughts and prayers to everyone back home in North Carolina.
Love, Cynthia Brown

Sharon, was my cousin and truly an amazing person. Our families have always been so very close, and she was not looked at as a cousin but another sister. She will be loved and missed so very much. You are now at peace, you are with your father, your grandfather, your grandmother and your aunts and uncles; all of whom loved you so very much. May God grant you the peace and Love he has promised you and all of us.
Love Bill Junior

There was never a time I spoke with Sharon that she was not positive, supportive and encouraging. Her outlook on life was amazing, I never heard a word of discouragement, although she was handed far more than anyone should have to bear.
If anyone has a portion of her positivity and outlook on life, they are doing good.
She will be missed.
To Freddie, we love you and are always here for you. Stay strong.

May the prayers of friends and family bring you comfort in this time of sorrow. I did not know Ms Ellis personally, but she is spoken of fondly by the faculty at FTCC. She will be remembered as a devoted and caring member of the FTCC ADN faculty whose love and dedication to the nursing profession and education of future nurses was unwavering.

There is very few women I have known that are as strong as you. I love your strength, your intelligence, your drive, and your love for Freddie. You have shown this world what is meant to be a loving and giving member of this planet. I'm thankful to have known you and I hope your journey to Heaven was a fantastic ride. I'll see you there when God is ready for me. In the meantime, say 'hey' to Lloyd for me!
