Sharon Leigh P. (Plummer) Ellis

Sharon Leigh Plummer Ellis, 60, of Fayetteville passed away on Mon. Oct. 12, 2015. She was born in Cumberland County to Ernest L. Plummer, Jr. and Gilda Odom Plummer on May 28, 1955.  She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest L. Plummer, Jr. and sister-in-law, Vickie Ellis Plummer.

Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband, Freddie Ellis of the home; mother, Gilda Plummer of Fayetteville; brother, Leonard Bennett Plummer of Edenton; and best friend, Ellen Boahn of Fayetteville.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Fri. Oct. 16, 2015 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thurs. Oct. 15, 2015 at the funeral home.
