Dr. Murthy VLN Pinapaka, DVM, PhD.

Dr. Murthy VLN Pinapaka, DVM, PhD., 81, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015.

Murthy is survived by his beloved wife, Satya Pinapaka; his son, Sekhar Pinapaka (Sarvari) of Raleigh; his daughter, Vijaya Tangella (Ganesh) of Raleigh; his brother, Murali Pinapaka of India; his sisters, Vardhani, Ranga, and Seeta, all of India; and four grandchildren, Divya and Harish Tangella and Mahesh and Hari Kiran Pinapaka.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel with Murali Sarma officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Murthy's name to the S.V. Temple of NC or the Hindu Bhavan of Fayetteville.
