Zodie Dawson Hobbs

Mrs. Zodie Dawson Cunningham Hobbs, 83, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016.  A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James W. Hobbs, Sr. and a daughter, Teresa Hobbs Moore.

Mrs. Hobbs is survived by her sons, James Hobbs, Jr. of Fayetteville and Douglas Hobbs and wife, Kimm of Alexandria, Va.; her daughters, Sharon Tapscott of Crowley, TX, Rebecca Hutto of Dothan, Ala., and Vickie Hobbs of High Point; a sister, Nancy Dilles of Warrenton, Va.; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
