Maggie Townsend Cunningham

Mrs. Maggie Townsend Cunningham, 54, of Spring Lake passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Cunningham, Sr. of the home; sons, Douglas Cunningham, Jr. and Antonio M. Cunningham, both of Fayetteville; daughters, Jakinna Cunningham and Tiffany Cunningham, both of Fayetteville; brothers, Alonzo Townsend and Kenneth Townsend, both of Hope Mills; sisters, Cassandra Melvin of Fayetteville and Mary Autry of Raeford; her mother, Maggie Townsend and stepfather, Seabourn Anderson of Hope Mills; mother-in-law, Mildred Cunningham of Lancaster, S.C.; and eight grandchildren, Makayla Lee Cunningham, Jonathan Amare Wesley, Aaliyah Essence Abdullah, LaBria Kmari Cunningham, Shaniya Nicole Cunningham, Tatiana Denise Cunningham, Josiah Ezra Lee Cunningham,  and Cherish Serenity Cunningham.

A funeral service will be held at 9 am Friday, July 1, 2016 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kimberly Nixon officiating.  Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the funeral home.
