Harold Maness Taylor

Harold Maness Taylor, 91, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015.

Mr. Taylor served in the United States Army serving in World War II in the 35th Infantry Division Company H 320th.  He received 5 Bronze service stars, and served in five major campaigns..

Harold  is survived by his wife of 72 years, Dorothy Taylor; two sons, Harold Taylor and his wife Dorothy of Rocky Mount, and Dwight Taylor and wife Linda of Fayetteville; one daughter, Amanda Eastridge and husband Orling of Fayetteville; two sisters, Betty Ingram of Houston, Texas, and Margaret Ann Bullard of Wade; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm, Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at the Rogers and Breece funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at the Old Bluff Presbyterian Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11 to 11:45 am, Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at the funeral home.
