William "John" Riley

William "John" Riley, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, December 14,2014.

John  is survived by his wife, Lucille B. Riley of the home; four sons, Jimmy (Paula) Germolec of Durham, William "Billy" Jr (Angela) of Defuniak Springs, Fl., Eddie (Lala) Dutter,  of Fayetteville and Scottie (life companion Darlene), of Stedman; four daughters, Barbara Hallett(Perry) of Santa Fe, Tx., Rosie Jones (Tom), of Cypress, Tx., Michelle Wagner (George) of Autryville and Melissa Ann Sanchez of Stedman.; two sisters, Shirley Ann Riley of Fayetteville, and Carolyn Barton (Erby) of LaGrange, Georgia; 24 grandchildren;  six great-grandchildren; and his special canine companion, Rocky.

Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his two sisters, Annie Ruth Simmons and Lillie Mae Jennings.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec., 18, 2014 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., on Wednesday, December, 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
