Ret. Staff Sgt. H L Lewis

Retired Staff Sgt. H.L. Lewis, 89, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017.

He is survived by his four sons, Harold Lewis and wife, Hope of St. Louis, Mo., Don Lewis of St. Louis, Wayne Lewis and wife, Penny of Southern Pines and Mike Matthews of St. Louis; two daughters, Cheryl Ann Lewis of Fayetteville and Juana J. Johnson of St. Louis; one stepson, Ronald Terry and wife, Donna of Fayetteville; two step-daughters, Jeanene Cornellier and husband, Adrian and Barbara Croop and husband, Frank, all of Tampa, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 1 pm Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Blackman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12 pm (noon) to 1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
