Wow! Still active well into her ninth decade. STILL serving as an amazing example. What a wonderful person and role model. Always kind and encouraging. I'm sad about her passing but remembering her brings a smile and a lot of wonderful memories. Thanks for "being there". My condolences to her family and friends. Weren't we all so lucky to have her in our lives!

I remember Mrs. Pigott from a class I had with her in the early 60's. She was a very nice, gentle person. I am glad she had a good, long life.

I was fortunate to have this sweet lady as a teacher at 71st High School. What I remember most is her kind and gentle manner. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

So sad to read of Mrs. Pigott's passing. We teachers have a special community. We shared our hearts with young people. Jesus was very accommodating to young ones also. It is such a beautiful thing to read of a life well-lived. May your memories of her along with her students' memories bring you joy. May the God of comfort give you peace and love during this difficult time.

I remember Mrs. Pigott from 71st High School in the early 1960's. She was one of my teachers and such a nice lady. So sorry to learn of her passing but so happy she had such a long, healthy life. Best wishes.
