Had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Stone once when invited to Stacy's birthday party I believe 4th grade or so. I was just in awe of her politeness & beauty. Reminded me of Grace Kelly. My deepest condolences for your loss Stacy.

An elegant and kind woman who had a smile for everyone! I remember the year she got the most votes in the Fayetteville elections. Not for any one office but one for each office. When interviewed by a reporter, she told him she wrote her name in on the ballot because she knew she could trust herself to be honest. You have to love someone like that. I know I did.

My childhood memories would not be complete without remembering you. You represented what a true lady was to me. As a little girl, I looked up to you, full of grace, the beauty of a movie star, truly someone special. Your elegance defined you and drew other's in. Thank you for so many wonderful memories. I am sorry for your loss Stacy. You were a wonderful daughter.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Marguerite, may she rest in peace. Marguerite was a year ahead of me at Washburn High School but we had some good times together. Her senior year she was the night operator at the telephone company and we had fun calling people and making jokes. Of course, her boss didn't know we were doing this! She was a good student and had many friends in Washburn. Looking at her picture, she aged well.

She gave gifts of all kinds to everyone whose lives she touched. She had the qualities, character and sense of humor that made her such a great person. We were privileged to be her friends.
