Joseph Stephen Fudala

Retired Master Sergeant Joseph Stephen Fudala Jr., 76, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

 Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy; his children, Ellen F. Gerber (John) of St. Pauls, Louise Mayer of Durham, Jo Anna Mayer of Hartford, Conn., Dean Jackson of Long Beach, Calif., Eugene Jackson (Brenda), Virginia Beach, Va., and Tearse Rackley (Mike) of Cameron; a sister, Delores Dankovich of Chicago, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel. Interment to follow with full military honors in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the funeral home.
