Carl Robert Johnson

Carl Robert Johnson, 60, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015.

Carl Johnson was a veteran of the United States Marines Corp, serving 4 years, with a majority of his time spent in overseas missions. He also retired as an AAFES Human Resources Manager, after 25 years working in many different locations throughout the country.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his parents, Walter and Kathryn Johnson of Cadillac, MI; two brothers, Michael Johnson of Cadillac, MI, and Dan Johnson and his wife, Tava of Rockford, MI; three sisters, Patty Raden, of Cadillac MI, Linda Miller and her husband Marv, of Evart, MI, and Dawn Kitson of LeRoy, MI.

Carl is also survived by his fiance, Sandra Otten of Sanford, NC and her family; Nichole Matthias, of Fairbanks, AK, Christi Carel, of Palmyra, VA; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Johnson was a kind and generous man who sincerely loved people. He always had such a positive outlook on life. Carl never knew a stranger and always looked for the best in everyone he met.  He was dearly loved, and will be eternally missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11 am in the Rogers and Breece funeral home chapel.
