Annie Ruth Williams

Annie Ruth Williams, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

Mrs. Williams was born March 29, 1932 in Autryville to the late Wilson and Spicey Jane (Edge) Faircloth. She was preceded in death by her son Harvey Jr.; and grandson, Kenneth Michael Williams.

Annie met John and three weeks later they were married and remained happily  married for 66 years. "True Love at First Sight"

She is survived by her husband John H. of Fayetteville, three daughters, Ruby Willis of Fayetteville, Christine Thomas of Hope Mills, Dale Tripp of Fayetteville, and stepdaughter, Myra Tyndall of Gibson NC; son John D. of Fayetteville; sisters, Elouise Hall of Fayetteville, Edith Tanner and Cecila Willis both of Autryville, NC;  12 Grand children, 30 great grand children and 2 great-great grand children.

A  funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 pm prior to services.
