Margaret "Teen" Ernestine (Davis) Yates

Mrs. Margaret "Teen" Ernestine Yates, 95, of Fayetteville passed away on Sat. Sept. 26, 2015.

"Teen" was born December 16, 1919 in Person Co. the daughter of Joseph and Ethel Duncan Davis.  She was a long time member of the Hay Street United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Yates and wife, Julianna of Monroe and Michael H. Yates and wife, Suzanne of Richmond, Va.; step-daughter, Mae Warren of Selma; sister, Esther Ray Cashwell of Laurinburg;  five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12 pm (noon) Thurs.  Oct. 1, 2015 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Blackman officiating.  Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10-11:45 am prior to the service.
