Retired Major Claude Carlos Capps

Retired Major Claude Carlos Capps, 82 of Eastover passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017.

He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Airforce. He was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. He was a former Master of Clifford Duell in 2004, a member of Creasy Proctor and Clifford Duell, and a member of the Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his two sons, Rusty Capps of Eastover and Phil Capps of Knoxvills, Tenn.; three grandsons, Chuck Capps of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Johnathan Capps of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and Daniel Capps of Myrtle Beach; and three great grandchildren, Carlee, Elyson and Emmett.

A funeral service with full military and masonic honors will be held at 1 pmFriday, June 2, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12:45 pm prior the service at the funeral home.
