Retired SFC Harold Richard Stevens, 90, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017.
He was a veteran of the US Army serving 20 years and receiving the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal with 1st Oakleaf Cluster.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Wilma Stevens of the home; sons, Ronald Stevens of Fayetteville, Randy Stevens of Zebulon and Mike Stevens of St. Augustine, Fla.; and a daughter, Jane Stevens of St. Augustine, Fla.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Stevens and Harold Stevens, Jr.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12 pm (noon) Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating.
