Ret. MSGT. Tommy Wayne Maggard

Retired Master Sgt. Tommy Wayne Maggard, 67, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017.

He was an Air Force veteran and served in the Vietnam War and Dessert Storm. He was a mason member of the Spring Lake Lodge 667.

Mr. Maggard is preceded in death by his parents, Ivory and Margaret Maggard and brothers, Jimmy Maggard and Rodney Maggard.

He is survived by his wife, Analeen "Anna" Maggard of the home; two daughters, Cabrina Baggerly and husband, Kyle of Waleska, Ga. and Tracey Perkins of Greensboro; a son, Ty Maggard of the home; two granddaughters, Kathryn Perkins and Ava Baggerly; one great granddaughter, Arianna and three great grandsons, Charlie, Jaden and Zayne.

A funeral with full military honors will be held at 12:30 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veteran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:15 am - 12:15 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society.
