Mrs. Elsie Mae Dowdy

Mrs. Elsie Mae Dowdy, 77, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2014.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul R. Dowdy of the home; her sons, Steve Guillemette of Greenville, Larry Smith of Florence, S.C., and Dr. Billy Smith and wife Jennifer of Greenville; a sister, Jessie Crockett of Pineville, LA; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Leon Hunt officiating. Interment to follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
