Retired Sgt. Maj. Buster George Carver, 80, of Fayetteville passed away on Wed. Jan. 27, 2016.
He is survived by wife of 57 years Sonia Haag Carver of the home; two daughters, Mona Schuster of Fayetteville and Cleta Lands of Knoxville, Tenn.; three brothers, Tom Carver, Jim Carver, and Walter Carver all of Maryville, Tenn.; and two sisters, Deana Jackson of Yatesville, Ga. and Nancy Huffstetler of Knoxville, Tenn.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 12 pm (noon) Wed. Feb. 3, 2016 in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
