William Goly Huggins Jr., 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. He was born in Bath, SC on November 17, 1944.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Huggins. He is survived by his three daughters, Renea Tillman of Fayetteville, Melisa Bowling of Fayetteville and Laura Scarberry of VA; two sons, Al Brown of Fayetteville and Brian Bowling of VA; nine grandchildren, Cynthia, Wendy, Courtney, Montana, Hailey, Brennan, Trenton, Jordan, and Ashley and six great grandchildren, Marquis, J.R., Kamryn, D.J., Trinity, and Kaydence and his two close friends, Terry and Donald.
For over three decades William worked in Cumberland County as an EMS. William was passionate about his job and dedicated to helping people. He was an avid fisherman and loved animals, especially “Brandy” and “Taco”.
William’s family and friends meant the world to him and he will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Rogers & Breece Chapel on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends from 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital Cancer Care Fund.
