William Franklin Hemingway, Jr., 60, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Ruth Hemingway; his two sons, William Earl Hemingway and wife, Nichole of Fayetteville and Fred Reese Adkins, III of Fayetteville; his daughter, Amanda Nicole Pfouts and husband, Ryan of TX; mother, Ida Hemingway of Fayetteville; brother, James Dallas Hemingway and wife, Debbie of Fayetteville; sister, Carol Feliciano and husband, Victor of Waxhaw; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, William Franklin Hemingway, Sr.
William loved his family and was a phenomenal husband, father, grandfather, son, and loyal friend to many. He valued his family and friends and delighted gathering with both. William enjoyed life, spending several years working in the automotive industry. He often extended his help to fix things for others using his gift with mechanics. Doing so brought him joy. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:45 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 PM in the Chapel following the visitation with Pastor Bobby Sykes officiating.
