William Richardson Jr.

Colonel William Richardson passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 surrounded and supported by his loving family at their home in Fayetteville, NC at the age of 91.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  In 1945, he joined the Armed Forces and served 40 years, was a Prisoner of War (POW) for 39 months during the Korean War, served as the President of Richardson and Sons Construction, Inc., for 37 years and was an Author.

Colonel Richardson was a brave and loyal soldier, as well as a patient husband and loving father.  He married Claire in 1955.

He is survived by his daughters Dorothy, Lynn and Cathy and his sons Mark and Jeff and their families as well as grand and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Claire.

The family will have a private service.
