William Richard Carmon, Jr., 69, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Health Center. He was born in Winchester, Virginia on February 11, 1955, to the late William and Dolores Carmon.
William leaves behind to cherish his memory his siblings, Candance Carmon Sandy (Ron), Sandra Carmon Lewis (Billy), Donna Carmon Beasley, and Belle Vee Carmon; nephews, Will Lewis, and Jordan Carmon; nieces, Amber Price, Brooke High, Courtney Cheek, Brittany Murphy, and Paige Carmon; great nephews, Landen Carmon, Gray High, Walker Price, Drew Murphy, and Judah Lewis; and great nieces, Hayven Carmon, Carmon Murphy, and Vivienne Price.
Richard touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed, especially by his sisters, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces. After he retired from his painting career, he loved to spend time with his neighbors and family members. He was always willing to lend a hand if you needed anything.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 1 to 1:45 pm. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm in the chapel with Pastor George Taylor officiating.
