Walter Morris Shaw Obituary

Walter Morris Shaw, 76, passed away at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shaw of the home; one sister Margaret Osborne of Fayetteville; many other relatives and friends.

Walter was a US Marine Corp Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. After the military he owned and operated Shaw’s Auto Parts and Service in Fayetteville for over 35 years.

He was a loving husband, enjoyed helping others, and never met a stranger. Walter will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be at 3 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021 in Rogers & Breece Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends from 12:45 – 2:45 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park.
