Virginia Lee (Taylor) Terry

Virginia Lee Taylor Terry, 80, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2026, at her home, surrounded by loving family. She was born on October 9, 1945, in Fayetteville, NC, to the late Wallace and Barbara Taylor.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Astor Terry; her parents, Wallace and Barbara Taylor; two brothers, Gene and Jimmy; and one sister, Mickey Sue.

Virginia is survived by her two daughters, Paula and husband, Guy Jencks, of Fayetteville, NC, and Vickie and husband, Monte Beard, of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters, Ruby Young, of Fayetteville, NC, and Faye and husband, Harold Strickland, of Fayetteville, NC; her three granddaughters, Barbara and husband, Keith Tart, Kimberly and husband, Jonathan Solano, and Caroline Beard, all of Fayetteville, NC; one grandson, Monte Beard Jr., of Fayetteville, NC; and seven great grandchildren.

Virginia had a vibrant personality and touched so many people’s lives. She never met a stranger.
