Valerie Goldner Obituary

Ms. Valerie J. Lowder, 55 of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019. A visitation will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 2:00 to 2:45 on Sunday, December 29, 2019. There will be a Memorial Service directly following the visitation at 3:00 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Valeria Byrd, and by her brother, Wayne Byrd.

She is survived by daughters Katherine of Fayetteville, NC and Lauren of Raleigh, NC; brother Johnny (Jennifer) Byrd of Weaverville, NC and sister Bobbie Bowling of Gilbertsville, KY; grandson Asher Robert Goldner of Fayetteville; nieces Larson and Annaka Byrd of Weaverville; and nephews Spencer and Tyson Byrd of Cary, NC.

Valerie was an RN for 35 years, most recently working as a case manager at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, and playing with her grandson.
