Toni JoAnne Cessna-Brisson

Toni JoAnne Cessna, 67, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on May 10, 2021. She was born on August 17, 1953 at USAF Hospital, Smoky Hill Army Air Force Base in Salina, Kansas, and grew up in Tacoma, WA and Lake Tapps, WA. Following high school graduation, she left Washington State to attend Brown University in Providence, RI and made the Northeast her home. After meeting Cliff Brisson, she moved to Fayetteville where they were married in 1983. Toni was an independent financial consultant for most of her career. Toni’s Christian faith has always guided her life. She proceeded to earn her Master of Ministry Degree from Southwestern Christian University in 2012.  Toni was an active and passionate member of Manna Church in Fayetteville.

Toni Cessna was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Clifford Brisson, her father, James Durwood Cessna, her mother, Eulalia Sarver Cessna, and her brothers, Richard Cessna, Scott Cessna and Larry Cessna. She is survived by a niece, Christine Cessna of Alexandria, VA and two nephews, Craig Cessna of Mesa, AZ, and Todd Cessna of Seattle, WA.

The family will receive friends of both Toni and her husband, Cliff, at a combined visitation on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Manna Church, Main Worship Center, 5117 Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville, NC, 28314.  A combined funeral service for the couple will follow at the church from 11:00am to 12:00 noon with Wayne Tate, Seniors Pastor of Manna Church, officiating. A burial service will be held following the funeral at Cross Creek Cemetery.
