In Loving Memory of Timothy Nakamoto
March 27, 1982 – January 3, 2026
Timothy Nakamoto, 43, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on January 3, 2026. Tim’s life was defined by loyalty, hard work, and an unwavering devotion to the people he loved.
A fierce protector of family and friends, Tim was known for his ingenuity, creativity, and his ability to see possibility where others saw limitation. He worked with his hands and his heart, beginning his career in landscaping before finding his calling as a general contractor. Through his company, TSN Services LLC, Tim designed, restored, repaired, and rehabilitated homes and buildings inside and out—often extending that care to the land surrounding them. His craftsmanship reflected who he was: thoughtful, capable, and proud of a job done right.
Tim found peace in the simple, grounding things in life. He loved woodworking and took pride in creating meaningful pieces, including hand-crafted state map wall décor. He enjoyed drawing, sitting quietly listening to nature, and spending evenings around a campfire with country music playing nearby. Fishing, especially alongside his brother Dan, was one of his greatest joys.
Above all else, Tim loved his children. He was a devoted father who cherished every moment with them and spoke of them with pride. As a very young single father, Tim stepped fully into the role with strength, sacrifice, and love, building his life around being present for his children. His infectious smile, unmistakable laugh, tireless work ethic, and readiness to drop everything to help those he cared about are memories that will live on in all who knew him.
Tim is left to be cherished by his mother, father, brothers, son, daughter, and grandson.
He was preceded in death by his son.
Tim was also passionate about giving back and supporting others, remaining active in causes close to his heart, including Through Tragedy Comes Light, the Man 22 Suicide Awareness Run, and Military Veterans Parking Spot Dedications, honoring fallen veterans through dedicated spaces in their names.
Tim’s legacy lives on in the values he embodied, his loyalty, his morals, and his love, carried forward by the family and friends who were fortunate enough to be part of his life. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
