With heavy hearts we announce, Timothy Joseph Hinton, 69, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Tim was born in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and spent most of his years in Hope Mills and Fayetteville, North Carolina. He attended East Carolina University and Pembroke University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Tim spent many years working for Irvine Aerospace, The Fayetteville Observer, Beasley Media Group, and the Crown Complex. He was a huge Boston Red Sox fan, and over the past 16 years of marriage, he enjoyed traveling with his wife to many cities for trips, concerts and special experiences, always involved him asking the bands to play his favorite song, “Sweet Caroline.”
In his spare time, Tim loved working in the yard and spending time with his two daughters.
Tim is proceeded in death by his father, Keven Wallace Hinton, his brother, Keven “Ken” Hinton, and his late wife, Deborah Swanson Hinton. Tim is survived by his wife, Tara Brisson Hinton, his two daughters, JoAnna Rebecca Hinton and Kelsie Elizabeth Hinton, his sister Melanie Hinton (Jimmie Lou), and his mother, Hazel Creech Hinton.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025, on the campus of Friendship House Fayetteville, 200 Highland Ave. 28305.
