On Saturday evening, January 18, 2020, Thomas Graham, loving husband, father, brother and beloved friend to many, passed away at the age of 82. Thomas was being visited and comforted by family members at the time of his passing.
Thomas was born on May 10, 1937. He was born and raised in Lumberton, NC but eventually called Hope Mills, NC home.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Narson, his mother, Daisey, and his siblings, RS, Catherine, Addie, Hubert, Dorothy and Amons.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mukdah; his five children, Angela, Wayne, Paula, Timmy and Gerry; his grandchildren, Josh, Jesse, Crystal, Brittany, Justin, Courtney, Nicole, Alexis and Tyler; his siblings, Virginia, Helen, Steve, Narson Jr., and JR; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Thomas was a painter by trade but a fisherman by heart. As a child Thomas would go fishing with his father and this turned into a passion that stayed with him throughout his life. He then passed his love of fishing down to his own children and grandchildren. As Thomas would say, “Any day spent fishing was a great day.” On any given Sunday you could find Thomas at church worshipping the lord. His love for the lord and church grew deep within his heart. He was a wonderful, kindhearted man that befriended so many. Thomas was an avid teller of jokes and could always make you laugh. He was well known for his infectious smile and compassionate spirit.
A viewing will be held for family and friends from 1pm-2pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Rivers of Living Water Church of God on Bingham Drive in Fayetteville. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm.
