Terri Noonan Obituary

Heaven has gained another angel.  Terri Gwen Hendrix Noonan was called home on January 23rd, 2022.  Terri was born on February 13th, 1958.  She was the eldest child of Margie and Jerry Hendrix.  She had five younger siblings, three sisters and two brothers.  She loved her family and took great pride in them.

She was fierce, strong and everything she did, she gave 110%.

She worked hard, played hard, loved hard, and fought hard.

Her life was full of ups and downs, highs, and lows, but she never let the lows keep her down.  She loved life and embraced it with all her might.  She opened her home to host many Easters, Thanksgivings, Christmases, and Birthdays over the years. She cherished her family and bringing them together.  She prepared huge feasts.  She decorated for the occasion.  She loved the holidays, especially Christmas.  Her house was decorated inside and out.  You could see her house from a mile away with all the lights.

Terri excelled at work.  She held various positions over the years, mostly management positions.  She worked in jewelry for quite some time.  Then she worked at Sleep Number.  But wherever she worked, whatever she sold, she topped the charts.

She loved her parents and siblings and wanted the best for them.  She wanted them to be happy in life. She never had children of her own, but she loved her nieces and nephews and always doted on them.  She loved dogs and always had at least one.  Her fur babies gave her great joy.

Many years ago, she met Norman Noonan. They talked from a distance for two years.  This was a huge feat, since he lived in Australia, and she lived in America.  He came to the U.S., and they got married.  They made each other laugh, they looked at each other with such tenderness, they cared for each other in sickness and in health.  Norman was the love of her life, and she was the love of his life.  After 21 years of marriage, they passed away just 11 days apart.  Now they’re together forever in everlasting happiness and health.

Terri will be truly missed by all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Noonan, and her beloved daddy, Gerald Tyre Hendrix.  She leaves behind her mother, Marjorie Broughton Hendrix, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, a stepson in Australia and his family, 13 nieces and nephews, 8 great nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.  She also leaves behind her fur baby, Chewey.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 Am on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home.
