Steven Arnold Knight

Surrounded by his family, Steven (Steve) Arnold Knight passed away peacefully at his home in Hope Mills on November 6, 2021, at the age of 65.

Steve was born April 4, 1956, in Henderson, NC to the late Charles Lee Knight and wife, Mary Elizabeth Knight. Steve spent 41 years as a sales manager/trainer in the pest control industry. He also coached and umpired girls’ softball for 10 years. Steve loved music and playing the guitar. He had an infectious laugh and entertaining sense of humor.

Steve leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years, Donna Knight of the home; two daughters, Michelle Plesser and husband, Shannon of Fayetteville and Melonie Davis and husband, Jay of White Lake; three grandchildren, Tristan Plesser, Ethan Plesser, and Dalton Davis; two brothers, Alan Knight and wife, Rosie of Lenoir and Glenn Knight and wife, Carla of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews. He was best known as Handaddy to his grandchildren and most family and friends.

The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, November 14, 2021, during a visitation from 1:30pm until 2:45pm at Fayetteville Community Church. A celebration of Steve’s life will immediately follow at 3pm at the church with Pastor Wesley Pritchard officiating.
