Stacey (Courtney) Davis

Stacey Davis, 62, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, in her home with family at her side. 

Born to John and Lillie Courtney, Stacey spent most of her life caring for others as a Wife, Mother, Nana, and Friend. In her career as a nurse, she served those in the community for many years as an emergency room nurse and later helping to open HPN Express Care on Ramsey. She recently retired from the VA Coastal Health Care System where she worked as Nurse Manager of the Speciality Clinics. Always a caregiver, there is nothing Stacey wouldn’t do for those in need. Her friends and family will sorely miss her presence. 

She is survived by her husband Johnnie, daughter Jennifer, stepdaughters Tracy (Andy), and Terri (Rick), her brother Jay (Debbie), sister Connie, and five grandchildren Ariel, Kanon, Christine, Taylore, and Hannah.

A visitation will be held Friday from 11:30 to 12:30 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home followed by grave side service at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. 

The family would like to thank the hospice staff who cared for her with kindness and dignity as well as family and friends who loved and visited her in her last days.
