Sherman ‘Bud’ Dailey Scull went home to be with our Lord and Savior on February 24, 2025, at the age of 96. Bud was born in Cape May Court House, NJ on September 17, 1928. Bud was proceeded in death by his father, Paul Scull, his mother, Fannie Scull, his sister, Pauline Shensky and brother-in-law, Arnold Shensky. Bud is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bobette Scull; his daughter, Kasey Ivey; son-in-law, David Ivey; granddaughter, Dailey Ivey; niece, Pauline ‘Polly’ Correll and husband, Steve Correll; nephew, Robert ‘Bobby’ Shensky and wife, Jean Shensky; great nieces and nephews, Jana Schellinger, Jake Shensky, Brad Shensky, Lindsay Newport and Lauren Acquaviva, along with their spouses and many great-great nieces and nephews. Bud is also survived by his family by choice, Betty Anne Borland and husband, Chuck Borland, Jennifer Maher, husband, Mike Maher and their children and Sherry Anne Phillips and her daughters.
Bud lived a long and fulfilled life. He was a musician, served the Lord for 50+ years in the music ministry, traveled all over the world, was a business owner, provided for his family and loved those near and dear to him more than anything. He was a loving husband and father as well as a faithful friend. If you had ever heard one of his jokes, then you are one of the lucky ones. Whenever he was asked what his secret was, he would answer “a good strong faith & a little gin.” Rest in peace, dad…until we meet again. We love you.
Per Buds and the families wishes, no services are being held.
