Shelby "Jean" Faircloth Ciani

Shelby "Jean" Faircloth Ciani, 86, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, October 11th, 2024. Jean was born on October 29,1937 in Calypso, N.C. to Lelland and Lula Faircloth. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, James Vito Ciani, Sr., and granddaughter, Jennifer Ciani of Orange Park, Fla., four sisters, Edith, Susie, Lois and Christine as well as three brothers, Odell, Arthur and L.B. Faircloth.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Angela and sons, Jimmy and wife, Alice of Fleming Island, Fla., Lee of Raleigh, NC and Mike and wife, Vicky of Fayetteville as well as three grandsons, Jimmy, Brayden, and Holden Ciani and one granddaughter, Casey Castle of Statesboro, GA. 

Services will be held at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Thursday, October 17th, 2024. Family and friends will gather at 12 PM and services will be in the chapel at 1:30 PM. The burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.

 Jean was loved and treasured by her family and will be missed. We know she is at peace.
