Sheila Holder Lewis

Sheila Holder Lewis, 70 years old, passed away on August 16, 2024.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Roger Lewis; parents, Alexander, and Eleanor Holder; brother, Gary Holder and her brother-in-law, Brian Hartsell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Jonathan (Beth) Lewis of Watford City, ND; daughter, Stephanie (Joe) Creech of Southport, NC; sisters, Denise Hartsell and Jackie (Ed) Norris; her nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and three nephews.

Sheila was born on July 25, 1954, to Alexander and Eleanor Holder. She married the love of her life, Jerry Lewis, in 1975.

Sheila worked at the Register of Deeds in Fayetteville for 6 years before leaving the workforce to be a stay at home mom and homemaker. Sheila loved her grandkids with everything she had. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 10:45 to 11:45 am. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm in the Rogers and Breece Chapel with Brother Larry Chason officiating. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
