Sharon Ann Locklear was born in Robeson County on February 4, 1961. She was the daughter to the late Adell Locklear and Reedy Bell Bullard Locklear.
Sharon was a devoted Christian and loving mama to Christopher Locklear. She was always a hard worker and free-spirit, who loved traveling until she suffered a stroke in 2013. Sharon always looked forward to a homecooked meal brought to her regularly by her brother, Stanley.
Sharon spent the last several years at Autumn Care in Fayetteville, N.C. She made an enormous number of friends during her time there, and they became her new family.
She was also preceded in death by three of her brothers, Jadell Locklear, Roger Trent Locklear, and Lynn Ray Locklear.
Sharon leaves behind her precious son, Christopher Dwayne Locklear and his caretakers, Delores and Grady Riley; her sister, Carole Locklear of Maxton, N.C.; her brothers, James Oscar Locklear of Maxton, N.C. and Stanley Scott & wife, Barbara of Maxton, N.C.
Sharon had made the request of no flowers to be purchased for her and instead asked that any donations be made to Autumn Care of Fayetteville, if so desired.
