Sgt. 1st Class (Ret.) James William Shupe

Sgt. 1st Class (Ret.) James William Shupe, 89, of Fayetteville passed away on July 23, 2022.

James is preceded in death by his beloved wives, Mary Elizabeth Shupe and Louise Shupe; parents, Harvey, and Alice Shupe; brothers, Bill Shupe, Harvey G. Shupe and Glen H. Shupe; and sister, Gaynelle Wall. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sons, James R. Shupe and wife, Brenda of Lubbock, TX and David W. Shupe and wife, Hilda of St. Pauls, NC; daughter, Susan Gore of Fayetteville, NC; siblings, Mack D. Shupe of Parkersburg, WVA, Geneva E. Eanes of Martinsville, VA, Stella Meadows, Geraldine (Toni) Foley of Linden, NC; stepson, Ralph E. Waller of Burlington, NC and stepdaughter, Kathy Brooks of Greensboro, NC; four grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. .

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022, with Reverend Gary Shupe officiating at Lafayette Memorial Park West.
