SFC Douglas Mark Bozman, 37, of Louisville, OH passed away from this world to the next on May 10th, 2022.
He was born and raised in Louisville, OH. After graduating high school in 2003, he joined The United States Army where he served with distinction until his passing achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class. During his service, he deployed 8 times to Iraq, Kuwait, and Poland. Doug optimized every aspect of an Army Non-Commissioned Officer and dedicated himself to the health, morale, and welfare of his fellow soldiers during his 19 years of service.
He was currently stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina where he lived with his wife, Jennifer, dog, Sarge, and cat, Gabe. Doug was a self-admitted comic book lover and enjoyed any excuse to share his wealth of knowledge of Marvel, H.P. Lovecraft, Star Wars, and beyond. Doug will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Doug is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Bozman. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Jennifer Bozman; father, Mark (Teresa) Bozman; siblings, Jennifer (Michael) Harbaugh, Michael (Wendy) Bozman, Jessica (Matthew) Ruble, Melissa (Michael) Repasch; nieces and nephews, Dillon and Morgan Harbaugh, Emma Bozman, Arianna and Madison Ruble, Lilliana Zaykov, Miklaus and Malakai Repasch.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 Pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. The family will greet friends prior the service at 12 to 1:45 Pm.
