Ruth Ellen (Davis) Waltz

Ruth Ellen Waltz, 69, of Linden passed away on September 1, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital surrounded by her children.

Ruth is preceded in death by her father, John Wilbur Davis; mother, Norma Marie Robertson Davis; and husband, Richard Carlisle Waltz. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Robert Carlisle Waltz of Hope Mills, NC; daughter, Marcie Renea Waltz Kelly and husband, Tim Kelly of Clinton, NC; grandson, Brandon Kelly of Clinton, NC; grandson, Jacob Kelly of Clinton, NC; and Grant Kelly of Clinton, NC; and a host of special friends and nieces.

Ruth retired from Fayetteville Technical Community College. She enjoyed being around others and socializing.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC with Reverend Bill McCoy officiating.
