Russell Scott Romrell

Russell Scott Romrell, 52, of Fayetteville passed away on May 1, 2023.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Terry Kent Romrell; brother-in-law, Douglas Clyde Reed; and nephew, Brandon Wesley Stevens. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Michelle Romrell; son, Scott Romrell and Dara Lawson; daughter, Jessica Romrell and Blake White; grandchildren, Kelsie Kay Romrell and Jackson Lee White; mother, Sandra Romrell; brothers, Brian Romrell and Kirsten Romrell, Kevin Romrell, Mark Romrell, Wade Romrell and Heather Romrell; father in law, William Youkers and Rita Youkers; brother and sister in laws, Adriane and Ernest Fox, Angie and Herb Morris, William and Missy Youkers, and Rhonda and Mark Reynolds; and countless nieces and nephews.

Russell was loved by everyone he met. He was a peacemaker and anchor in his family. He loved all his friends and family and spending time with them. Russell was a lover of fishing and riding his side by side. As Russell would say, “Just send it”.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 12 PM on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, at Epicenter Church in Fayetteville, NC. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM with Pastor Mark Knight officiating. Burial to follow the service  at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
