Rodney Alec Carroll, 60, of Fayetteville, passed away on August 20, 2025.
Rodney was a churchgoing, God-fearing man who lived his life with love and devotion to both his family and his faith. He was a proud and active member of Freedom Biker Church in Benson, North Carolina.
Standing tall at 6’3, Rodney was a gentle giant whose booming voice and infectious laugh could light up any room. He never met a stranger and was kind to everyone he encountered. He had a deep love for many things; Harley Davidson motorcycles, his faithful dogs, and most of all, his beloved daughter Caitlin, affectionately known as “Punkin.”
Rodney’s life was marked by a rugged yet tender spirit, a decades-long career in trucking, and above all, the joy he found in being a devoted father. These qualities, along with the countless memories he created, will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Betty Carroll; his brother, Jeff Carroll; and his sister, Cheryl Carroll.
Left to honor his memory are his daughter, Caitlin Gale Carroll; his sisters, Kimberly Strong (James) and Faith Cruikshank (John); niece Kristen Williams(Jeremy), many loving nieces and nephews; and his cherished dogs, Jake and Harley.
Visitation will be held September 6th at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home at 12:00 PM, with the service to follow at 1:00 PM, and the graveside to follow after funeral service.
