Roberta Tyndall Darden, age 85 of Fayetteville, N.C. was called home to be with her heavenly father, Jesus Christ on January 21, 2022. She was born on August 26th, 1936.

Roberta was greeted in Heaven by her father Richard Melvin Tyndall, her mother Janie Belle Tyndall, her husband Tommy Joseph Darden, and her son Steven Thomas Darden. Being the oldest of 6 children Roberta cared for every sibling as her own children. As her brothers Johnny Richard Tyndall, Dwight Nelson Tyndall, and her sisters Janie Geraldine Sutton, Lynda Tyndall Honeycutt, and Sylvia Diane Hall live on to carry out her memory, Roberta will be with them always. Roberta’s children Cynthia Elisa Barnard, Richard Jeffery Darden, and Sonya Michelle Barefoot were her pride and joy. The blessings that her children gave her were her 4 grandchildren Johnathon Steven Barnard, Richard Thomas Darden, Roberta Paige Barefoot, and Konner Janie Barefoot. Jonathan Barnard gifted Roberta with her two great-grandchildren Lyric Cliffton-Scott Barnard and Madilynn Grace Barnard.

Roberta Darden was a very spiritual-Godly woman. She accepted her Lord and Savior at the age of 7 and been walking with him since then. Always putting her family members first and doing everything she can to help make sure the ones she loves have the things that they needed. As a prayer warrior Roberta made sure to spend her days talking to her Lord God Almighty. Anyone that came in contact with Roberta knew she loved with all her heart; they could feel the love God blessed her with. As she went home to be with the Lord, those she left behind are filled with her presence.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. The family will receive friends before the service from 11:30am to 12:45pm. Burial will follow the funeral at Lafayette Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made in memory of Roberta to Alzheimer’s Association.
