Robert Emerson Heath

Mr. Robert Emerson Heath, 73, passed away on January 31, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his late wife of 29 years, Carrie Annette Heath and his father William Parham Heath Sr.

Robert is survived by his son Kerwin Emerson Heath of Fayetteville; his daughter Jan Cheyenne Redfern of Hawaii; mother, Virginia Heath of Hampton VA; stepdaughter Joanna McMurtray of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Sienna, Elizabeth, John Robert, and Payton; brother William P. Heath Jr. and wife Pat of Wiliamsburg; niece Shannon Levister, husband Matt, and their children Ashley and Nathan of Yorktown, VA; nephew Bill Heath III, wife Nicole, and their daughter Audrey of Ohio; brother in law Eddie Zawisha, wife Robin, and their children Trey and Shane of Fayetteville; his soon-to-arrive great grand-daughter Aryelle Annette Grim;  and several cousins and other family members.

Robert graduated from Kecoughton High School in Hampton, VA in 1966. He went on to attend Campbell College graduating in 1970.  Robert was an avid baseball player both in high school and college. He sold insurance for over 40 years, working until his retirement in December of 2009.

A visitation will be held at Rogers & Breece Funeral Home from 11:45 to 12:45, Saturday, February 6, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM in Rogers & Breece Chapel with Rev. Nick Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery.
