Richard Corriveau, 61, of Fayetteville and White Lake, North Carolina, passed away on December 30th, 2021. Rich was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a proud and dedicated U.S Army and National Guard veteran. Rich is preceded in death by his parents, Cecile Durant and Onezime Corriveau. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy R. Averette; daughter, Stephanie Barnhill Neal and three grandchildren, Ian Thayer, Charlotte Thayer and Samantha Neal. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert and Michael Corriveau and nieces and nephews, which he held dear.
He will be remembered as an accomplished craftsman whose hands never met a scrap of wood he could not bend or shape into something extraordinary. Though, more so than his talent, he was best known for his zeal for life, his adventurous spirit, and best of all --- his affections for those he loved.
Rich was a man who always helped a friend or neighbor in need. Kindhearted and doting, he leaves behind a legacy of generosity and a presence that will be forever missed by those that knew and loved him. Rich will be fondly remembered by his mischievous smile, his affinity for open waters and his endearment for the path left untraveled. Vous êtes prêt? Aller, on y vas! Are you ready? Let’s go.
“Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch” – Jack Thorne
