Reverend Irving Ray Drake

Reverend Drake was preceded in eternal rest by his parents Command Sgt. Major Thomas Sidney Drake and Natalie Carroll Drake; and his brother Reverend Thomas Sidney Drake Jr. He was a faithful father that is survived by his 3 children, Daniel Levi Drake, Faith Naomi Drake-O'Neal, and Rebecca Shalome Drake. His 5 grandchildren Carlos O'Neal Jr, Natalie O'Neal, Kobe Evans, Athena O'Neal and Apollo O'Neal; as well as his sisters Patricia Biles, Eugenia Hernandez, Alice Smith, Amina Muhammad; his son-in-law Carlos O'Neal Sr whom he loved infinitely; nieces, nephews, and extended relatives who are also left to forever cherish his legacy. 

A viewing will take place from 11:30-12:25 with service to follow at 12:30 on October 4th, 2025 at Evans Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church located at 301 N Cool Spring St, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
