Retired Sgt. Major William "Charlie" Brown passed away peacefully on September 30, 2018 at Womack Army Medical Center.

He was a proud Army veteran of 26 years. After his military career, he was the well known owner of the Four Oaks Auction Gallery.

He was kind, caring and giving with a warm and loving spirit that made him beloved by many people.

A visitation and celebration of his life will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Monday, October 8, 2018 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. All are welcome.
