Reginald Fred Massengill

Reginald Fred Massengill, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the age of 64.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Massengill; his brother Clifford Massengill; and his two sisters, Bonnie Mays and Michelle Wallace.

Reginald is survived by his loving wife Betsy of the home; his children, Gail McDonald and Linda Raynor both of NC; his mother Jackie Morrison of TX; sister Brenda Villarreal and husband Jerome of AL; brother Jeff Massengill and wife Tammy of TX; three grandchildren, Charlie Finnegan and (Hallie) of NC, Brittany Herron and (Matt) of SC, and Haley Wheeler and (KD) of NC; great grandchild Ryder Trinemeyer of SC; aunt Sandy Barton of MASS; and 66 nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Hillside Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Lloyd officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45 PM at the church. Burial will follow the service at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Hillside Baptist Church, 3807 Legion Road, Hope Mills, NC.
