Phyllis Meredith Crumley

Mrs. Phyllis Crumley, 72, was born on July 18, 1948 and passed away peacefully on February 6, 2021.

Mrs. Crumley was born and lived most her life in Fayetteville, NC. She worked tirelessly in civil service for over 40 years and was on the Board of Directors at Bragg Mutual Federal Credit Union. She loved trips with loved ones to the beach and enjoyed adventures exploring Europe with family. Mrs. Crumley will be missed sorely by many lifelong close friends and her Northwood Temple church family.

She was preceded in glory by her husband and soulmate Steve Crumley. They both were whole-heartedly devoted to family and friends. She leaves here her daughter, Lisa Johnson and son, Jim Godwin and their families; also, loving sisters Anita Johnson and Evelyn Schultz. There is no pain, there are no tears where she laughs and sings with a full heart forevermore!

A memorial service will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
