Peggy Sue (Reavis) Carr

Peggy Sue Reavis Carr, 88 years old, Fayetteville, NC passed away peacefully with her family around her on August 24, 2024. Born in Galax, VA on June 20, 1936.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Willie (Bill) Monroe Carr; her mom, Minnie Reavis; brother, Paul Reavis and sister, Lucy Arnold. She is survived by her children, Richard Dean Carr, Micheal Allen Carr, Stephen Gregory Carr, Terry Lynn Carr, and Lisa Annette Carr McMillan and her 15 Grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

God gained another angel in his choir, mom loved to sing, dance, shop, write poetry (secretly), but most importantly she loved being with her family, she devoted her life to her children.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 12 to 12:45 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm in the Rogers and Breece Chapel. Burial to follow the service at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
